Catwalk Distribution Unit

When an existing MSL customer had a requirement to produce a completely new, complex, power distribution unit specified by the entertainment industry we them towards a freelance CAD designer, Mike Badley at Sigma Technical, who we have worked with extensively.  Mike, working closely with the client, was able to rapidly produce a 3D model and flat pattern drawings.  Once approved, we were able directly import the sheet metal drawings into our system and punch, fold, fabricate and paint the various components and supply to the customer who engineers their own electronic assembly “in house”.  The whole exercise, from concept to delivery, was completed within just a few weeks.
