Vigo in bottle pasteuriser Tanks

When Vigo, the Dunkeswell supplier of equipment, consumables and services for drink producers, were looking for a one stop shop to refresh and produce their range of in bottle pasteurisers they contacted us to see what we could do. 

A difficult challenge – these tanks.  Fabricated in stainless steel, watertight and requiring good insulative properties they also need to look good and function well.  With the tank comes a panel mounted control system to umbilically control the tank heater units.

To improve the insulation performance of the tanks we worked with our neighbours, Polarwall, and utilised their high performance high density extruded polystyrene material to improve the performance of the tanks. This is CFC (Chloro-fluorocarbons) & HCFC (Hydrochloro-fluorocarbons) free, does not contribute to the depletion of the ‘Ozone Layer’ (ODP), has a Global Warming Potential (GWP) of less than 5, is 100% recyclable and does not promote condensation thus eliminating fungi & bacteria – just the job

Focusing on tank component fabrication we have developed a methodology to deliver excellent seam welds that provide good cosmetic appeal, whilst being watertight of course.  Moving across to DP1 stainless cladding has given the tank a better cosmetic appearance.

We fully populate, wire and connect the control systems to Vigo design parameters. This ensures our customer receives fully finished units to go through their internal quality assessment & test processes.
