Increasing our investment in the future

We are excited and pleased to welcome our 7^th apprentice into the business, Arthur Hattan. With two years progressive experience with another excellent locally based fabrication company Arthur has been attending Exeter College and joins us to continue his development, complete his level 2 and progress through his level 3 fabricator qualification. 

We are firmly committed to regenerating our workforce through the apprentice route and around 50% of our current team started their employment that way with us at some point in the last 12 years.  Of our 6 previous apprentice recruits 5 remain with the business and have been continually developing their contribution and increasing their levels of responsibility - we really benefit from the loyalty and continuity that we have in the team. Our recruitment and development strategy has also helped us to reduce our average employee age by more than 10 years and dramatically improved diversity within the team.

It’s a great team at MSL, DASL and locusXact and we are sure Arthur has some fantastic times ahead helping us to grow our business and building his career in fabrication.
